Germany                       Cargo Ho Ho                1 December 2024


   Rather recently, during one of my visits to Leipzig Hbf, I spotted an
   advertisement announcing that a Coca-Cola Christmas train would be
   arriving at the station on the first of December.  Of course, I
   couldn't possibly miss such an event, so I searched the internet for
   details and promptly added the train's arrival time to my calendar.
   Blimey, this had to be the most German thing one could possibly
   imagine - a Coca-Cola Christmas truck riding on Deutsche Bahn rails!

   And today, I witnessed this magnificent spectacle in person.  The
   moment I arrived at the station and saw the train carrying not one
   but two red trucks, I couldn't help but break into a big smile - and
   there was no need to hold back, really.  The information display
   board next to the platform, instead of showing the usual arrival or
   departure times, read "Cargo Ho Ho," which made me smile even more.
   And, as one might expect, this event finally got me into the
   Christmas spirit!
