Germany                    Deutsch: Niveau A2               10 July 2025


   A couple of weeks ago, before I ended up in hospital, I successfully
   passed my telc Deutsch A2, and B1 awaits me in September.  I have to
   say, I'm speaking with much more confidence now after being stuck in
   hospital for ages.  Hardly anyone there spoke English, so I had to
   chat with everyone in German.  After a while, I didn't even need to
   say things like "Ich kann noch nicht fließend auf Deutsch sprechen"
   anymore.  Being ill sucks, but having the chance to practice
   listening and speaking so much was brilliant.
