Politics Three Years of War 24 February 2025 I can hardly believe that exactly three years ago, at the very moment I'm writing this brief note, I was heading to Moscow to hold a solitary anti-war protest with a placard reading "Putin, Stop the War with Ukraine!" outside the Presidential Administration building. Even then, I understood that irreversible changes had begun in my life, and the path would be rather straightforward - leading out of Russia. But even now, I still cannot fathom that today, in the twenty-first century, an unconscionable number of innocent civilians are dying, and this is happening solely due to the inexhaustible cannibalistic nature of my country's president. Three years have flown by imperceptibly. As has the time spent in different countries, different houses, different flats. I must admit, I've already lost count of how many places of residence I've managed to change during these three years. I'm glad that the last move happened more than six months ago. It saddens me that the concept of home has been irretrievably lost to me. And certainly, the age's wolfhound has managed to deprive many others of their homes as well. These are primarily people from Ukraine, whose homes were physically destroyed. And this continues to this day. No to war. Glory to Ukraine. Putin - khuylo!
